Once again to the stars.

I had another sick day today. We used the unexpected opportunity to play the generation ship game.We didn’t use all of the possible win conditions. Our only options: the triumph of colonization… or an endless drift into the bleakest regions of space.

I think the game is simpler and more focused without the alternate win conditions.  However, missing some uncertainty in whether you are ahead or behind leads to excessive analysis and slow turn-taking.

Even in its unfinished state, the game transports you deep into a desperate struggle to find a new homeworld for your people.
